Monday 4 October 2010

Let the sun shine :)

Hello guys :)
I hope you all had a nice a weekend as me (y)

Well this weekend I went down to sunny Inverness (haha thats sarcasm) the home of Nessie the Loch Ness Monster.

I was up there because my dad was running the Loch Ness marathon. Well done dad :D. Here he is in action running for Breast Cancer:
And here is the gorgeous sunset on the three hour drive back home:

So the 3 hours 49 mins spent waiting on him was put to good use because Inverness has a HUGE Primark. It was raining really heavy so we decided to pop in and I got myself a lovely pair of winter boots.

Here they are :)

Absoloutly gorgeous and only 18 pounds!
I paired them with my Miss Selfridge skinny jeans, my Next leopard print knitted top and my New Look leather jacket.
I also got a pair of nude coloured brogues that will do me all winter and they will go with everything especially my navy jersey skirt from American Apperal that is coming in the post. So here they are:

Sorry the picture is blurry :(
And these were only 8 pounds :O

Anyway I will do an outfit post as soon as my skirt arrives :D

Until next Monday,
Stay Fashionable.

TREND ALERT!

Hey Guys :)
This week I have been doing some research into trends for winter to make sure you all know where to get the most affordable, fashion forward winter clothing.
This week I am in love with aviator jackets as they are everywhere and there are many different ways to wear them. They also look super cosy for the winter season :D
Here are some of my favourite ones:
New Look - 39.99
Matalan - 35.00
Boohoo.com - 45.00

What do you think of this trend?
Personally I love them as they can add a bit of rock chic to any winter outfit :)

Another trend appearing this season is cable knit.
As the cold winter months roll and and the wind starts to blow big, chunky winter cardi's, scarfs, hats and tights are essential.
Here are some of my top picks:
River Island cable knit tights - 7.99
New Look - 22.99
Republic - 14.99
What do you think about these trends? - Let me know in the comments section :)
If there is anything that you would like me to find for just let me know.

Until next Monday,
Stay fashionable!
